Numerous times I have wandered by these two buildings in the Upper East Side of New York. I loved the contrast of a very light white/off-white with a dark grey building directly next door.

It’s varnishing day!!
I had a good collection of paintings that needed a coat of varnish. Sure am glad to have all the extra space in the new apartment to lay these out until dry.

Sarah and Maui

This painting was for Sarah, it was from a photo that I took of her and our husky Maui in our backyard in Lethbridge, AB. Maui was beautiful, Sarah was beautiful, I had to paint it! This was the first time in a very long time that I attempted to paint a person as well. It took quite a bit longer but I gained the confidence to know that I can do it again if people requested.
